A48 is a linear magnetic anomaly located in 2005 with a signature similar to A47 (Figure 86). The source<br />

of <strong>the</strong> anomaly was searched <strong>for</strong> using side scan sonar and visually from <strong>the</strong> survey vessel. The source<br />

could not be located, however, A48’s proximity and similarity to <strong>the</strong> pipeline at A47, strongly suggest<br />

that A48 is also a buried iron pipeline.<br />
