It follows from <strong>the</strong> specified data that <strong>the</strong> monitored characteristics have a complementary<br />

character; <strong>the</strong>y supplement <strong>and</strong> qualify each o<strong>the</strong>r. When taking a closer look it is apparent<br />

that when compared to <strong>the</strong> group <strong>of</strong> doctors that prefer staying <strong>and</strong> working in <strong>the</strong> Czech<br />

Republic, <strong>the</strong> doctors considering working abroad:<br />

- Have a higher representation <strong>of</strong> men;<br />

- Have a preponderance <strong>of</strong> younger age categories (even though <strong>the</strong> relatively high<br />

representation <strong>of</strong> married doctors with children <strong>and</strong> doctors 40 years old <strong>and</strong> more among<br />

potential migrants cannot be overlooked);<br />

- Have a higher share <strong>of</strong> doctors that are preparing for certification or have <strong>the</strong> basic<br />

certification in <strong>the</strong> field;<br />

- Have a lower representation <strong>of</strong> “migrating” doctors with scientific titles, Head Physicians<br />

<strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir deputies <strong>and</strong> a higher frequency <strong>of</strong> secondary doctors;<br />

- Have a lower number <strong>of</strong> doctors in <strong>the</strong> private sector <strong>and</strong> a higher number <strong>of</strong> doctors from<br />

large teaching <strong>and</strong> regional hospitals.<br />
