Create a separate space for children away from <strong>the</strong> dust and <strong>the</strong> noise, to play and sleep while<br />
parents are work<strong>in</strong>g. One adult should be <strong>in</strong> charge of supervis<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> children<br />
Provide a space where workers can sit dur<strong>in</strong>g breaks and take <strong>the</strong>ir food. This place should be<br />
sheltered aga<strong>in</strong>st <strong>the</strong> sun, clean and away from <strong>the</strong> noise and dust<br />
A.4 Be<strong>in</strong>g Prepared for Emergencies<br />
Emergencies such as accidents can happen any time, specifically <strong>in</strong> a stone crusher unit. Heavy<br />
boulders are transported and crushed, truck are com<strong>in</strong>g and go<strong>in</strong>g any time, workers are conduct<strong>in</strong>g<br />
work at heights to repair and ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> crusher and <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>stallations, gravel heaps can slide and<br />
bury workers.<br />
In case of such a severe accident, rapid and correct response is needed. The unit and <strong>the</strong> owners can<br />
prepare for such medical emergencies. By act<strong>in</strong>g fast <strong>in</strong> case of emergency, <strong>the</strong> victim can be helped<br />
better, maybe even lives can be saved and <strong>the</strong> losses for a company can be reduced significantly.<br />
