D.5 Checklist: Accident prevention: safe work<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

heights, road safety<br />

This checklist has been developed to provide guidance on prevention of accidents. Not all of <strong>the</strong>se<br />

questions apply to all workplaces or to all stone crush<strong>in</strong>g plants. To calculate <strong>the</strong> correct score you<br />

need to exclude <strong>the</strong> topics, which are not applicable. The checklist is limited to questions that can be<br />

easily answered by observation and by ask<strong>in</strong>g workers. Answers that do not comply with <strong>the</strong> preset<br />

ones () <strong>in</strong>dicate problem areas, which should receive fur<strong>the</strong>r attention. Fur<strong>the</strong>r <strong>in</strong>vestigation may be<br />

required to assess risks and make a decision on whe<strong>the</strong>r corrective measures are required.<br />
