This checklist has been developed to provide guidance on hazard identification <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>dustrial workplaces<br />

concern<strong>in</strong>g safe work practices while handl<strong>in</strong>g loads. It should help <strong>in</strong> a stone crush<strong>in</strong>g unit to assess<br />

specific jobs and see if <strong>the</strong>y pose a risk to health of <strong>the</strong> workers. Not all of <strong>the</strong>se questions apply to all<br />

workplaces. To calculate <strong>the</strong> correct score you need to exclude <strong>the</strong> topics, which are not applicable.<br />

It is conf<strong>in</strong>ed to questions that can be easily answered by observation and question<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> workers. It<br />

is <strong>the</strong>refore not all <strong>in</strong>clusive <strong>in</strong> coverage. Answers that do not comply with <strong>the</strong> preset ones () <strong>in</strong>dicate<br />

problem areas, which should receive fur<strong>the</strong>r attention. Fur<strong>the</strong>r <strong>in</strong>vestigation may be required to assess<br />

risks and make a decision on whe<strong>the</strong>r corrective measures are required.<br />
