1.4 PROPERTY OWNERSHIP<br />

The New Brunswick Power Corporation currently owns <strong>the</strong> property upon which <strong>the</strong> Project will<br />

be completed.<br />

is provided in Figure 1.2.<br />

1.5 FUNDING<br />

The Project will be financed entirely by <strong>the</strong> Proponent.<br />

1.6 PROJECT-RELATED DOCUMENTS<br />

In January, 2011, NB Power submitted a request <strong>for</strong> a Letter of Advice to <strong>the</strong> Department of<br />

Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), which was supported by a Regulatory Consultation Document;<br />

this included in<strong>for</strong>mation based on <strong>the</strong> alternative means of carrying out <strong>the</strong> Project<br />

(i.e., dewatering), with a discussion of possible Harmful Alteration Destruction or Disturbance of<br />

Fish Habitat (HADD) related to that option.<br />
