Tshitraka Project Festival

Sirko aka Montagu und sein Bruder Stephan
(Golkonda) sind nicht nur Symphonix, sondern
auch das Tshitraka-Team.
Wir haben Sirko nach dem Sinn des FEstival-
Namen gefragt:
1998 saßen Christian (DJ Syncron), Jan, Stephan und ich
bei mir im Wohnzimmer und ließen es uns gut gehen.
Dabei suchten wir fieberhaft nach einem Namen für
unser Projekt und es fiel uns ein indisches Bindi mit
dem Namen Tshitraka in die Hände. So einfach war das
früher ... Da es aber leider im Leben nicht immer so
einfach ist, sind wir mittlerweile nur noch zu zweit,
nämlich Stephan und ich. Christian hilft allerdings
immer noch oft mit - ein dickes Danke dafür!

(Golkonda) are the Tshitraka team. We asked Sirko
about the festival’s name:
In 1998 Christian, Jan, Stephan and me were hanging
around at my place having a good time and thinking
intensely of a name for our project. Then accidentially
we saw an Indian bindi with the name Tshitraka on it –
that was it! Quite easy, wasn’t it? But not everything was
that easy so meanwhile it’s just the two uf us left.

he can, a big THANX to him.
There will be no more Tshitraka on tour this year,
to let you put all your power into the festival and
other projects - we heard you’re up to working
more internationally?
That’s why we are re-launching our website at the
moment, there will be a new design and for our international
guests the texts will appear in English, too.
Four weeks before the festival we will release the

Zu diesem Zweck bauen wir derzeit unsere Website
um, es gibt ein neues Design und für unsere internationalen
Gäste die Texte auch in Englisch. Vier
Wochen vor dem Festival werden wir dann die
»Tshitraka Project Compilation« auf Sinn-Tec-Audio
veröffentlichen. Das wird eine Doppel-CD, eine progressiv
und die andere psychedelisch, einen lieben
Gruß an Franky: »Geht voll steil, Alder!« (allgemeines
Gelächter).
Hier kann sich jeder leicht einen musikalischen Überblick
verschaffen, schon bevor er uns überhaupt
besucht hat. (Kobold)

Tshitraka offer to our readers five free tickets for their festival,
three double CD’s »Tshitraka Project Compilation« and two hoodies
with the Tshitraka artwork. Just tell us by email or snail mail
the names of two live acts that played the first Tshitraka Project
Open Air. The answers need to be at our office on June 19 2005.
