Labelowner Keith McDonnell persönlich.
Nachdem er viele Jahre als DJ
unterwegs war, hat Keith vor fünf
Jahren Baroque und Method ins
Leben gerufen und bietet seitdem
eine erstaunlich hohe Qualität seiner
Outputs. Selbst unser guter Paule
sagte neulich, es sei eines seiner
Lieblingslabels. Die »Half Centuary
EP« bietet sehr schöne Progressive
Trance Tracks, einer mit Vocals, einer
ohne und ihr solltet schnell beim
Plattendealer eures Vertrauens nach

James Holden has become everybody’s
darling after Väth tempted his
buddies with James’ »Break in the
Clouds« one year after publication.
That was just the beginning, now
‘Extrawelt’ is number eight and no
other than Midimiliz is responsible for
this release. Minimal trance at it’s
best.
Mittlerweile ist James Holden mit seinem
Label zu Everybodys Darling
mutiert, nachdem Väth seine »Break
in the clouds«-Platte ein Jahr nach
Veröffentlichung seinen Buddies
schmackhaft gemacht hat. Das war
Border Community Nummer Eins und
diese Aktion hat einen wahren Run
ausgelöst. Mit Extrawelt sind wir bei
Nummer Acht angelangt und keine
Geringeren als Midimiliz zeichnen für
dieses Release verantwortlich, das
nach einigen Ausrutschern an die
Qualität der Holden-Produktionen

»Origin 2«. No real surprise cause the former
home of deep melodic progressive
psy trance long ago turned into one of the
world's leading controllers of full on.
Expect the real twist and driving stomp
from artists of the Origin festival. I have
seen no tracklist so far, but even without
you know immediatly that the headliners
of this years' festival such as Tristan,
Eskimo and Dick Trevor, Aphid Moon and -
of cause - Protoculture are part of the
show. As you can imagine now you get a
full party soundtrack and also some melodic
orgasms. Enjoy the glossy modulations
in the brilliant morning tunes at the end of
this compilation. »Origin 2« is high energy
music with bite.

Südafrika, entsprechend psychedelic and
twisted geht es zu. Du kriegst das volle
Partyprogramm –stampfende Beats wie

After the big strain of the Tsunami benefit
disc, Chris Organic is back with a compilation
which follows the goal defined long
ago: high quality full on trance. Positive
melodies, driving synths and excellently
created atmospheres presented by well
known artists along with some new names
in the circuit showing us their skills in creating
recognizable tunes. The opener by
O.O.O.D. is a very nice tune, you can hear
the technical and musical background, and
track 7 teetered me the most, even though
I had never heard »Synthia System« before.

Kurz nach dem Kraftakt der Tsunami-
Benefit-CD erscheint Chris mit einem soliden
Line up qualitativ hochwertiger Full-
On Hymnen nicht nur lang bekannter
Künstler. So eröffnet O.O.O.D. seeehr
gekonnt und gefühlvoll diese CD, auf der
Synthia System, ein mir unbekannter Act,
für mich den größten Eindruck hinterlässt.

The disc is dedicated to the stronger night
time acid freaks. Abnormal starts with »evil
dead RMX« to let you know what’s
coming. Zolod aka Terminator follows and
gives another taste of his very own build
atmosphere makes his tunes unique and
recognizable. The strongest part, as usual,
is contributed by Prof. Leo aka Kindzadza
squeezing yet more cells out of the brain.
Those who like the morbid Russian style
should give this a try. I can’t wait for next
compilation to appear soon.

Statement, das durchweg heimischen
Künstlern gewidmet ist. Alte Bekannte wie
Kindzadza oder Terminator und mir neue
Künstler treffen sich, um den typisch morbiden
Sound der Russen zu zelebrieren,
der eindeutig für die Nacht gedacht ist.
Ich bin gespannt auf die nächste

This album is completly progressive and
starts with the first track, called
»Tropicana«. Perfectly progressive, right
from the first track, called »Tropicana« -
stampingly direct. This track was my favourite,
and it just gets more dusty and experimental
towards the end. Take a look at
»Multiplier« and »Immersion« for example,
you have to know what you’re about to
like this.
Dieses Album ist durch und durch progressiv
und geht bereits ab dem ersten
Track, »Tropicana«, meinem persönlichen
Favoriten, treibend nach vorn. Im weiteren
Verlauf werden die Tracks breaklastiger
und auch trockener. Die letzten beiden,
nämlich »Multiplier« und
»Immersion«, brauchen schon geschulte
