ears with first
class chillout.
The oriental
influence is easy to notice, which a label
from Israel could hardly revoke. Calm and
rhythmic is the sound and I can choose to
dream or even to dance to this if I want.
My favourites on this CD are Space
Buddha and Guru Nation with their unrivalled
sound close to the excellence of
Shpongle.
Auch die nunmehr vierte »Chillum«-
Compilation aus dem Hause Agitato verwöhnt
meine Ohren mit gewohnt erstklassigem
Chillout. Deutlich zu spüren ist
der orientalische Einfluss, dem sich ein
Label aus Israel wohl kaum entziehen
kann. In Ruhe und Rhythmus kann ich
selber entscheiden, ob ich träumen oder
tanzen möchte. Meine Favoriten auf der
CD sind Space Buddha und Guru Nation,
die mit ihren Tracks auch Shpongle in
nichts nachstehen. (liese)

series in which Raphael Marionneau presents
new talented artists. This time he
brings us al-pha-x from UK who created
the right music for dreaming with lots of
real instruments, melodies and guitar
rhythms. Second artist is Ma Faiza, together
with her German producer Veet
Ambient & Chill
Sandeh, she also set her focus more on
real instruments than just on electronics,
oriental flair and the smell of her countless
India stopovers make it something
very special.

Compilation-Reihe, mit der Raphael
Marionneau neuen, viel versprechenden
Künstlern ein Forum bieten möchte.
Diesmal fiel seine Wahl auf al-pha-x,
einen Briten, den ihr bitte nicht mit DJ
Alpha verwechselt und der hier mit sehr
vielen echten Instrumenten, Melodien
und Gitarrenrhythmen Musik zum
Träumen erschaffen hat. Die zweite
Künstlerin ist Ma Faiza, gemeinsam mit
ihrem deutschen Produzenten Veet
Sandeh setzt auch sie weniger auf
Elektronik als auf echte Musik, orientalisches
Flair - und man spürt deutlich Mas
indische Einflüsse. (liese)

Relaxed, breaked tracks pave their
way without any hurry directly into the
synapses and animate the inner self to
slow down. I’m also tempted to use the
keyword Shpongle, because these tracks
have an emotional deepness which is
unparalleled.
Aus der Schweiz kommt diese entspannende
Scheibe, mit der klar wird, dass
man auch dort eine Menge von gutem
Chillout versteht. Ruhige, gebreakte
Stücke ohne Eile bahnen sich ihren Weg
direkt in die Synapsen und regen das
innerste Selbst zum Entspannen an.
Wieder bin ich versucht, dass Vergleichs-
Keyword Shpongle zu benutzen, denn die
Stücke besitzen eine emotionale Tiefe, die
Ihresgleichen sucht. (liese)

seems to be
totally into chillout
nowadays
and with his
second release
in this genre he
also presents us
a masterpiece of modern electronics.
Dreaming, melodic and deep intros followed
up by excellent arranged beats are
the reason for the motions of the listener.
I can’t decide which tracks are my favourite
here because all of them are real pieces
of listening art and I have to make a
real effort to not listen to this CD constantly.
Denis Matenda hat sich scheinbar ganz
dem Chillout verschrieben und legt uns
schon sein zweites Meisterwerk in diesem
Genre vor. Verträumt, melodisch und
sphärisch bauen sich seine Tracks auf und
wenn die ruhigen Beats einsetzen, fängt
mein Publikum an, mit den Beinen zu
wippen. Echte Favoriten habe ich auf dieser
CD nicht, denn alle Tracks sind wahre
Kunstwerke und ich muss mich bremsen,
nicht nur noch diese CD zu spielen. (liese)
