MARK HOOSE, J.D., LL.M., is senior income tax counsel
to Intel Corporation, where he manages a group of tax
lawyers who advise the corporation on all third party
transactions. Previously, he was senior tax counsel to
Occidental Petroleum, has worked for two of the “Big 4”
accounting firms, and began his career as an associate
in the Washington, DC, office of Baker & McKenzie.
MICHAEL HUSTON, M.B.A., president of Huston
Associates, LLC, has more than 20 years of experience
from basic research to strategic drug development.

ARMOND INSELBERG, Ph.D., has extensive experience
in start-ups and at large companies, and has held
senior positions in product development and product
management. He currently is a principal consultant for
a local consulting firm. Mr. Inselberg holds a Ph.D. in
computer science, and an M.B.A., as well as VCP, CISSP,
and CCNA certifications.
KAMRAN IRAVANI, M.S.E.E., is a consultant working
on the design of high-speed PLLs, clock and data
recovery, multi-gigabit-per-second SERializer-DESerializer
(SERDES), gigabit-ethernet and high-speed IOs.
NANCY ISAAC, J.D., M.S, is vice president of regulatory
and clinical affairs and quality assurance for NeoTract in
Pleasanton California. She was previously Senior Counsel
with Longwell and Associates, a Palo Alto-based food
and drug law firm. She served in VP of regulatory affairs
positions at Broncus Technologies, Neuraltus Pharmaceuticals,
Aerogen, and BD Biosciences.
JENNIFER JACKSON, B.S., is the founder of The Insight
Advantage, specializing in helping companies gather and
analyze information on internal and external customer
requirements. Ms. Berkley brings a strong dedication to
helping organizations linking profits and commitments
to making key business decisions with customers’
current and emerging needs in mind.
LAURA JACOBS, B.A., CFP ® , has been a senior financial
advisor at Waddell & Reed for the past 10 years, having
worked within the industry for the last 15. She is a
comprehensive financial planner, who works with clients
on cash flow and budgeting, investments, insurance and
benefits, estate and tax strategies, retirement planning
and accumulation goals.
GITU JAIN, Ph.D., has done research in Parallel
Algorithms for NP-Hard EDA problems. She developed
multiprocessing applications for vastly different computing
platforms from shared memory processors to distributed
computing network. She has been working in CAD tools
for 13 years and is familiar with the issues faced in
developing applications in the computer industry.
She holds several patents.
JAY JAMALI, B.S., CSP, CHMM, CHCM, is director of
Enviro Safetech, Inc., an environmental, health and
safety consulting company. He has provided EHS services
in the Bay Area for 20 years.
RAXIT JARIWALLA, Ph.D., is a senior researcher in nutrition
and infectious diseases at the Dr. Rath Research Institute
in Santa Clara. He headed the virology and immunodeficiency
research program at the Linus Pauling Institute of
Science and Medicine, and principal research investigator
at the California Institute for Medical Research.
JESSE JENKINS, Ph.D., is a product planning manager at
Xilinx, Inc. He has 15 years of PLD experience, holds multiple
patents and has written a beginning text on PLDs.
CORINNE JOHNS-TREAT, M.A., is principal of a
Silicon Valley-based management and human resource
training firm, Cintam Consulting. She has more than
20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 and
SMB companies and professional organizations. She is
recognized in Who’s Who of Global Business Leaders.

WILLIAM KAO, Ph.D., has more than 30 years of R & D
experience in semiconductor IC and EDA. He is Director
of Technology at American Energy Choice and currently
teaches solar and renewable energy courses. He was
an adjunct professor at UCLA. He has over 40 technical
publications and several patents.
PATTY KASPER, M.S., is a clinical research consultant
and owner of P. Kasper & Associates, serving clients in
the biopharmaceutical industry. She has experience in all
four phases of clinical development and has managed
large groups of CRAs to develop a variety of compounds.
DAVID KEENAN, B.S., is an environmental health and
safety consultant with Performance Safety Associates.
NICOLE KERBEY, M.A., has been working professionally
with children for 14 years, both privately and in an
early childhood education setting. She has worked with
children from birth through school age. Additionally,
she is a certified Program for Infant Toddler Care trainer,
a Beginning Together trainer, and a professional growth
advisor.
NUSRAT KHALEELI, Ph.D., Biochemistry, from Johns
Hopkins University, has worked as an R&D scientist in
San Francisco Bay area pharmaceutical for companies.
ARSHAD KHAN, M.E., M.B.A., is a consultant with over
30 years experience. He has worked as a BW Project
Manager, reporting lead, BI Analyst, SAP functional
consultant, business analyst, and training consultant.
Mr. Khan has over 10 years experience in planning,
implementing, and training for data warehousing
projects. He has authored a dozen books, including four
on BI/Data Warehousing.
YASSER KHAN, B.S., has over 10 years of experience
in system verification for system and EDA companies.
He is familiar with all major verification languages, tools
and methodologies including SystemVerilog, SystemC,
PLI/VPI, VHDL, Vera/NTB, VMM, OVM, and UVM. Mr. Khan
is currently an application engineer at Synopsys.
ROBERT KNIGHT, M.S., DPM, has more than 25 years
of experience teaching mathematics. He is a pioneer
in the use of technology in the teaching of statistics
and mathematics. Dr. Knight’s innovative teaching has
garnered awards from the Santa Clara Mathematics
Association, the California State Chancellor’s Office,
and the California Mathematics Council.
VICTOR KOLESNICHENKO, Ph.D., has more than 25 years
of engineering experience in instrumentation and control
systems design. He holds a Professional Engineering
License in the State of California. Dr. Kolesnichenko has
two solo patents in analog electronics and published
40 articles in scientific research works and journals.
He is an expert in advanced metering infrastructures
for smart grid.
LEE KOZAR, M.A., M.S., M.B.A., is the director of
the Beckman Center, Computational Services and
Bioinformatics Facility. He has worked in the field of
bioinformatics for more than 17 years and has taught
bioinformatics at Caltech, UC Santa Barbara, CSU East
Bay and Stanford University.
SHREYAS KUMAR, M.S., has 11 years of experience in
software product development. He is a senior member of
the technical staff at Oracle and is currently pursuing a
Ph.D. in cloud security at UC Santa Cruz. Mr. Kumar has
contributed to product development for several Oracle
server technologies and applications.

THARAN LANIER, M.B.A., CPA, is currently in private
practice and specializes in accounting and the tax
needs of small business. Mr. Lanier has worked in large
industries and has taught graduate accounting courses
in the M.B.A. program at Santa Clara University. He has
created and taught courses for the Government and
Industry Program and the Small Business Institute at
De Anza College.
EDMUND LAU, M.S. in statistics, previously specialized
in using discharge, surveillance and claims data in the
study of arthroplasty, hypothyroidism, brain tumor and
other disease outcomes. Mr. Lau has published 15
research reports in peer-reviewed journals.
MELISSA LE, B.A., has more than 20 years of experience
in teaching. Her expertise is in identifying the needs
of her students, both children and adults, and helping
them to reach their full potential. A graduate of San
José State University with degrees in Child Development
and Intercultural Studies, she also completed SJSU’s
credential program.
RUSSELL LEONG, B.A. in graphic design from San José
State University, operates Russell Leong Design in
Cupertino, serving a diverse range of Bay Area clients.
Leong’s firm established its reputation with design work
for major Silicon Valley tech companies including Apple
Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Symantec, and Sun Microsystems
as well as non-tech clients such as Annieglass,
Betelnut Restaurant and Diddams. The firm specializes in
corporate brand identity, sales promotion/collateral and
event branding, while emphasizing innovation and fun.
LARRY LIDEN, M.A., is the retired superintendent
of the Institute of Computer Technology (ICT).
ANNA LONGWELL, J.D., M.B.A., M.S., is a regulatory
affairs professional and regulatory expert with extensive
experience in Medical Devices. She was VP of Regulatory
Affairs at Becton Dickinson and is currently the principal
of Longwell and Associates, a law firm specializing in
FDA regulations.
HARRY LORSBACH, M.B.A., CPA, CIA, has auditingmanagement
experience at a wide variety of organizations,
including the University of California. He has
taught graduate and undergraduate auditing courses at
UC Extensions and Golden Gate University.
