both sciences and humanities.<br />

• Enjoy travelling and finding out about new<br />

people, places and communities.<br />

• Want to keep their options open.<br />

Further studies at university would be possible,<br />

through courses in International Development<br />

Studies, Geography, Sociology, Economics or Politics.<br />

In addition, many universities considering applicants<br />

for a host of courses hold a favourable view of the<br />

World Development course since it offers such a<br />

broad coverage and comprehension of current<br />

global affairs. A grade C in English and grade C in<br />

a Humanities related subject are desirable. It is<br />

important that pupils have an enthusiasm and<br />

interest in global issues.<br />
