reestablishment of Constitutional government. A massive scandal, cover-up, and
Constitutional crisis exists in secret that dwarfs the shame of Nixon and the
Watergate scandal. And it is probably only going to get worse before it gets better.
We have been told the terrorists attacked the U.S. because they hate our
freedoms. President Bush stated in his address before the Joint Session of
Congress House and the American people:
Americans are asking, why do they hate us? They hate what we see right here in
this chamber -- a democratically elected government. Their leaders are selfappointed.
They hate our freedoms -- our freedom of religion, our freedom of
speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other. 16
But why are we told in complete Doublespeak contradiction that we must give up
out liberties, our inalienable rights, here in order to be safe? Why has every one of
the freedoms President Bush outlined been systematically eroded or set aside?
More importantly, why have we allowed it?
