<strong>in</strong>dictments for high crimes <strong>and</strong> misdemeanors, 15 <strong>and</strong> impeachment for the<br />

current occupant of the office of the Presidency <strong>and</strong> members of his<br />

adm<strong>in</strong>istration, <strong>and</strong> possibly several prior adm<strong>in</strong>istrations, <strong>and</strong> the<br />

reestablishment of Constitutional government. A massive sc<strong>and</strong>al, cover-up, <strong>and</strong><br />

Constitutional crisis exists <strong>in</strong> secret that dwarfs the shame of Nixon <strong>and</strong> the<br />

Watergate sc<strong>and</strong>al. And it is probably only go<strong>in</strong>g to get worse before it gets better.<br />

We have been told the terrorists attacked the U.S. because they hate our<br />

freedoms. President Bush stated <strong>in</strong> his address before the Jo<strong>in</strong>t Session of<br />

Congress House <strong>and</strong> the American people:<br />

Americans are ask<strong>in</strong>g, why do they hate us? <strong>The</strong>y hate what we see right here <strong>in</strong><br />

this chamber -- a democratically elected government. <strong>The</strong>ir leaders are selfappo<strong>in</strong>ted.<br />

<strong>The</strong>y hate our freedoms -- our freedom of religion, our freedom of<br />

speech, our freedom to vote <strong>and</strong> assemble <strong>and</strong> disagree with each other. 16<br />

But why are we told <strong>in</strong> complete Doublespeak contradiction that we must give up<br />

out liberties, our <strong>in</strong>alienable rights, here <strong>in</strong> order to be safe? Why has every one of<br />

the freedoms President Bush outl<strong>in</strong>ed been systematically eroded or set aside?<br />

More importantly, why have we allowed it?<br />

<strong>The</strong> tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots<br />
