Tenderer should submit attested copy of schedule of rates & quantities along with completion certificates in favour of complying eligibility condition 11(ii). Only certificates for work completed in all respect shall not be considered for complying eligibility condition 11(ii) i.e. certificates for work in progress shall not be considered for completion of single similar work of required amount. 4. Joint Ventures are not permitted for the work below ` 5 crore. 12. Tenderer’s Credentials :- Eligibility conditions are only the minimum eligibility criteria for consideration of offer for evaluation and tendered should have sound credentials also, failing which, offer may be rejected even after fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria given in Para 11. In support of their credentials, the tenderers should submit following documents along with their tenders. (a) List of Personnel Organization available on hand as proposed to be inducted (own and hired to be given separately) for the subject work, (b) List of Plant & Machinery available on hand (own) and proposed to be inducted (own and hired to be given separately) for the subject work) (c) List of works completed in the last three financial years giving description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of scheduled completion of work. Date of actual start, actual completion and final value of contract should also be given. (d) List of works on hand indicating description of work, contract value, and approximate value of balance work yet to be done and date award. Tenderers are supposed to submit attested copies of schedule of works as well as completion certificates of works executed by them. N O T E: (i) (ii) In case of items (c) & (d) above, supportive documents/certificates from the organizations with whom they have worked/are working should be enclosed. Certificated from private individuals for whom such works are executed/being executed will not be accepted 13. Contractors registered with DGS & D controller of stores, NSSI/SSI and having permanent earnest money deposited with stores Department of the Railway are not exempted from earnest money Deposit and payment of tender fees. [Downloaded from Internet] 14. No unsealed tender or tenders without the prescribed earnest money in accepted form will be accepted. 15. No interest will be allowed on the earnest money, security deposit or any other contractual amount due to be paid on Railway account or otherwise. 16. Rates tendered should be inclusive of all taxes & levies etc. If there is any variation between the rates quoted in figures and in words the rates quoted in “WORDS” shall be taken as correct. However, If more than one or improper rates are quoted, then such ambiguous offers shall be summarily rejected. Similarly, If a tenderer fails to strike out “below/above” then in such condition the offer shall be treated as ambiguous and summarily rejected. 17. The completion period of the work will be Three Months. 18. A tender containing erasures and/or alterations are liable to be rejected. If any correction becomes necessary these must be made in ink and attested with the signature duly dated of the tenderer. 19. The tenderer shall submit an analysis of rates if called upon to do so. 20. This work shall be governed by General Conditions of Contract of Western Railway amended up to the date of opening of tender. 21. The successful contractor should have experience and expertise in undertaking such jobs and he will get the work done by experienced and skilled manpower.
