Land and Property Services (LPS) carried out a full valuation of land and buildings at 1 April 2011, in accordance
with the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Manual and on a componentised basis. The next full valuation of land and
buildings will be 1 April 2016.
It is intended that the Prison Service College at Millisle will be disposed of once the new joint training facility is
opened at Desertcreat circa 2015. The NBV of £3,329k for the property at Millisle has been included within land
and buildings (based on LPS valuations in 2012 indexed to current values).
