or fines) to <strong>the</strong> attention of <strong>the</strong> authorities with jurisdiction<br />
Within <strong>the</strong> scope of <strong>the</strong> functioning of local governments is <strong>the</strong> constant supervision of <strong>the</strong>ir territory to<br />
make sure that <strong>the</strong> land use is according to <strong>the</strong> town development plan and local building regulations,<br />
<strong>the</strong>refore this involves <strong>the</strong> World Heritage sites and tentative sites that have been required to be included<br />
in <strong>the</strong> town development plans on <strong>the</strong> basis of <strong>the</strong> obligations in <strong>the</strong> National Regional Development<br />
Plan. According to <strong>the</strong> law, <strong>the</strong> method and extent of land use in <strong>the</strong>se zones must be in harmony with<br />
<strong>the</strong> objectives defined in <strong>the</strong> management plan.<br />
It is <strong>the</strong> constant obligation of <strong>the</strong> heritage preservation offices of <strong>the</strong> government agencies to monitor <strong>the</strong><br />
state of protected objects of heritage (archaeological and historic).<br />
