Better yet, six of thosevictories have come on the road, and fiveof the final six are home games.CSI built a 47-31 halftime lead, held off aJohn Jay rally that cut the deficit to sixStaten Island Advance file photo by HiltonFloresCSI freshman forward David Hughes had 18 points and nine reboundsin a 90-79 victory Friday night at John Jay.points, and shot a blistering 55.9 percentfrom the floor with five players crackingdouble figures.Junior point guard Thomas Tibbs paced abalanced attack with 22 points, sinking 15 of 16 free throws. David Hughes added 18 points and ninerebounds, and Jordan Young 17 points and nine rebounds.Dale Taranto continued his outstanding overall play with 15 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and threesteals.Bloochy Magliore pitched in with 12 points and four steals.The Bloodhounds (2-5, 7-11) also excelled offensively with a 49.3 percent shooting clip.
