The revised guidelines state: Exceptions may be granted for Partners to stay in a country during a mandatory exit. These exceptions will be made only with the permission of both the Partner’s National Director and Regional Director and will be given on the basis of special circumstances. Christian workers there engage in a range of projects aimed at growing capacity and resources that meet the needs of the people. One such enterprise involved a business venture, located in the capital city that engaged in entrepreneurial and managerial training. The business was set up with a board and investors, and had won a number of contracts that had given it a stable base for a period of time.
