Increased level of personal risk due to significantly raised local tension in country involving: public demonstrations, an increasing dislike of or threats and violence to foreigners/Christians, an increase in military presence, increase in crime, travel requiring extra precaution, communication lines being damaged, medical or food and water supplies becoming limited, a Partner experiencing significant stress which requires local help. 1. Be prepared for possible delay in placement of new Partners in the country. 2. Be ready for a possible movement to Security Level Red or higher. 3. Be prepared for restrictions in your movements and possible exit by a pre-­‐determined route 4. Keep informed by talking with local people, listening to the news and advice given by the Embassies. 5. Contact the Group Coordinator/Country Team Leader who will consider advice or requests from the local church authorities and non-­‐company colleagues in the area; colleagues and the International Office; and make decisions based on this. 6. Postpone any travel away from home. If travel is necessary contact your Group Coordinator/Country Team Leader first, and make sure you are contactable while away. 7.
