Menus, settings and functions2.1 Main menu descriptionPress MENU to view the list of menus.To enter any menu, scroll up or downthe list via the “” or “” buttons untilthe highlighted bar covers your menu ofinterest, then press ENTR to confi rm yourchoice.To change settings press the + or -buttons, then press SAVE to confi rm thechanges. This will take you back to themain menu. If you do not want to confi rmthe changes, press and hold the rightbutton at any time to exit without savingthe changes. This will also take you backto the main menu. Press and hold the leftand the right button simultaneously to jumpback to the time of day display. Note thatholding down the + or - buttons makes thesetting change faster.If you make a change in any menu andyou save it, the computer will displaythe message CHANGES SAVED for2 seconds. If you make a change anddo not save it, the computer will displaythe message CHANGES NOT SAVEDfor 2 seconds. If no changes were made,whether you exit by means of a press or apress and hold, no message is displayed.If more than one entity can be changedwithin a single menu, the right button islabeled >> instead of SAVE. Pressing >>will move the highlighted segment to thenext entity that can be changed. When thehighlighted segment is on the last possibleentity that can be changed, the right buttonreverts back to SAVE. In case of submenus,the operation follows the same process.If in the middle of changing a setting thecomputer does not receive any input fora period of 3 minutes, it will automaticallyswitch back to the time of day displaywithout saving any changes.2.2 Setting the oxygenconcentrationUpon entering this menu, the currentoxygen concentration (O 2%) will behighlighted. Underneath the O 2% you cansee the ppO 2 and the corresponding MOD.After changing the oxygen concentration,the ppO 2 will be highlighted. You canchange its value between the maximumallowed value (see section 2.3.4) and1.0bar. As you change the ppO 2 value, theMOD changes accordingly. Note that theMOD is also a function of water type (saltor fresh) and of atmospheric pressure (andhence altitude).18
