In addition, the depth accuracyshould be verifi ed every two years. Asidefrom that, Galileo is virtually maintenancefree. All you need to do is rinse it carefullywith fresh water after each dive and changethe battery when needed. To avoid possibleproblems with your Galileo, the followingrecommendations will help assure years oftrouble free service:- avoid dropping or jarring your Galileo- do not expose Galileo to intense, directsunlight- do not store Galileo in a sealedcontainer, always ensure free ventilation.If there are problems with the watercontacts, use soapy water to clean Galileoand dry it thoroughly.
