10.3 Domestic hot water
If the domestic hot water heat exchanger is affected
by limescale, clean it by connecting a descaling
pump to the two domestic water connectors ➂.
Use only products suitable for this purpose.
To obtain access to the domestic water connectors:
1 Tilt the control panel forward after removing the
2 fixing screws at the sides.

Disconnect the electrical output supply
and the gas supply from the boiler.
Close the domestic water inlet and outlet
valves and open the drain screws.
Protect the control panel from being
splashed with descaling product.
Unscrew the two 1/2”nuts on the domestic water
heat exchanger (24 mm wrench).
Unscrew slightly the 3/4” nut on the domestic
hot water outlet (30 mm wrench).
Pivot the domestic hot water outlet tube towards
the front.
Unscrew the 3/4" nut on the domestic cold water
inlet pipe (30 mm wrench).
Remove the domestic cold water inlet pipe.
Connect the descaling device to the two 1/2"
exchanger connectors.
After descaling, reassembly is the reverse of the
above procedure.
Replace the seals with new seals.
10.4 Cleaning the ”cold water” filter
(CITY 2.24 only)

Turn the tap off (6mm spanner) to avoid any drawing
off from the domestic circuit (kitchen,
bathroom, etc.) and major discharge when the
filter is dismantled.
Unscrew the drain cock after connecting a hose
(dimension: 8 mm).
Unscrew the adjustment door-filter-tap with a
17mm spanner.
If required, remove the filter and clean it with a
soft brush
- replace the filter on the filter-door and screw it
into the tap (17mm spanner)
- turn off the drain cock
- turn on the tap (6mm spanner).
