Installation Management Campaign PlanSoldier, Familyand CivilianWell-BeingObjective: Ensure Soldiers, Families and Civilianemployees are being cared for, and our programsand services enhance community life, fosterreadiness, promote mental and physical fitness, anddeliver a quality working and living environment.We are committed to delivering the best care,support and services for Soldiers, Families andCivilians by improving the quality of life throughmeaningful initiatives such as the <strong>Army</strong> FamilyAction Plan, the <strong>Army</strong> Family Covenant, <strong>Army</strong>Community Covenants and the ComprehensiveSoldier Fitness Program.The long term strength of America’s<strong>Army</strong> is dependent on the well-being of the <strong>Army</strong>’s Soldiers, Familiesand Civilians. We are keenly aware of the effects that continualdeployments are having on Soldiers and Families in the currentoperational environment. These effects threaten to corrode theresiliency and morale of our All-Volunteer Force if left unaddressed.To mitigate the effects of our current environment wecontinue to provide programs and services that enrich thelives of Soldiers, Families and Civilian employees throughoutthe ARFORGEN cycle. We support the <strong>Army</strong>’s readinessand retention goals by providing installation focal points forMilitary, Civilian and Family events that foster unitcamaraderie, esprit de corps, cohesiveness and a sense oftotal community.The <strong>Army</strong> Family Covenant (AFC) is the <strong>Army</strong>'s commitmentto provide Soldiers -- Active Component or ReserveComponents, single or married, regardless of where theyserve -- and their Families a quality of life that acknowledgestheir service, sacrifices, and dedication to our Nation. TheAFC endures through our nation’s period of persistent conflictthat produces unprecedented stress on Soldiers andFamilies. The AFC establishes a promise with Soldiers and<strong>Army</strong> Families to enhance their strength, readiness, andresilience. Programs and services aligned with the AFC carrythe promise through every stage of military life.The <strong>Army</strong> can’t do it alone. By leveraging the <strong>Army</strong> Community Covenant (ACC)program and similar efforts, we will continue to strengthen community relationships andAre We Doing The Right Things?
