Yet, people interpret media incomplex ways; they delight in media's excesses; they contextualizemedia within their everyday lives. We examine how people activelysense and make sense of media. People also engage in processes ofmedia production th<strong>at</strong> yield other ways of place-making, objectifyingethics, and practicing politics.
