However, the country-to-countrydistribution of foreign companies’ shares in international passenger traffic variessignificantly. Their share is high in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and relatively lowin Kazakhstan and Russia.In 2010, EurAsEC’s civil aviation companies transported over 964,000 tonnesof freight and mail, a 69% increase over the last ten years. Belarus showedthe highest approximately fourfold increase in freight traffic. At the same time,cargo traffic in Kyrgyzstan declined almost threefold in 2010, compared to2000. Russia accounts for more than 96% of all cargo traffic (see Table 10.7).<strong>Eurasian</strong> Development Bank171
