example, the research center will cooperate
in the organization of the upcoming
ICIS 2013 world conference
which will be held in Italy).
The CeRSI research center is directed
by Prof. Alessandro D’Atri and has a
staff composed of an assistant professor,
a researcher, a post-doc, four
PhDs, and one PhD student. The staff
of the research center has provided
training courses on Organization
Studies, Information Systems, and Informatics
to the LUISS Guido Carli University
and to other partner universities
like the University of L’Aquila, the
University of Urbino, the University of
Bologna, and the University Guglielmo
Marconi.
In 2010, the CeRSI research center
has hosted as visitors or for seminars:

The main competencies and research
activities run by the CeRSI research
center focus on theories and methodologies
for the design of organizations
and of their Information Systems, enterprise
and process modelling, business
models connected to ICT services,
smart Information Systems, inter-organizational
systems an virtual enterprises,
organizational transformation,
information management, information
analysis, systems and methods for
the analysis of managerial and professional
competences, business training,
university training, workflow management
systems, methods and systems
to organize and manage knowledge
possessed by an organization, analysis
of the impacts of ICT on enterprises,
training on Information Systems, management
and assessment of security
and quality in organizations, green IT.
The main topics in which the CeRSI
research center performs research
activities are: electronic commerce,
e-business, e-government, network
applications for central and regional
PAs, healthcare information systems,
management of medical information
via internet, smart services for citizens
and cities, methods to improve the
quality of life of elderly people, innovative
systems for professional and flexible
training in e-learning, information
systems for tourism and cultural heritage
management, ICT applications to
transports.
