cersi.it/ecdl). Besides the European
Computer Driving License (ECDL), the
Test Center is entitled, since 2006, as
a University Competence Center by the
CINI for the European Certification of
Informatics Professionals (EUCIP) certification.
Since 2007 the Test Center
has also started the certification activities
of the European Quality Driving
License (EQDL). In its four years of
activities, the Test Center has released
more than 1000 EUCIP skill cards, and
performed more than 3000 examinations.
Besides the certification activity, in
cooperation with CPI-Progetti, a private
company, the CeRSI research in
2010 center also organized an EUCIP
Core training course targeted to the
technical personnel of the Peripheral
Offices of the Arma dei Carabinieri,
and is organizing a similar IT Administrator
training initiative for the employers
of the peripheral offices of the ACI.
Finally, in 2010 the CeRSI research
center has provided, in partnership
with the private company Adfor, an executive
training initiative on the topic
of Strategic Management of ICT.

Paolo Spagnoletti’s research interests
include IT-based service innovation and
IT systems adoption. He has conducted
multiple-case studies in the public sector
domain.
Planned Activities
In September 2011 in Rome, the CeRSI
research center will organize the VIII edition
of the Conference of the Italian Chapter
of the AIS.
In 2011 the book containing the best
papers presented at the VII edition of the
Conference of the Italian Chapter of AIS
will be published with Springer. It will be
edited by: D’Atri, A., Ferrara, M, George,
J. and Spagnoletti, P. and will be titled
“Information Technology and Innovation
Trends in Organizations.”
