6. Use the wing template and a sharp <strong>to</strong>othpick<strong>to</strong> mark the holes for the spars on the <strong>to</strong>psurface of the lower wing. Note that the frontedges of the wings curve down. Dip <strong>to</strong>othpicksin<strong>to</strong> glue and set them upright in the lowerwing. Try not <strong>to</strong> push them all the way throughthe wing. Be sure they are straight and let themdry.6.7. Now turn the lower wing upside down andinsert the spars in<strong>to</strong> the underside of theupper wing, doing the back row (away fromthe curved edge) first. Be sure each is verticaland add a little glue <strong>to</strong> hold each in place. Nowtip the wing forward and insert the front rowof spars, working from one end <strong>to</strong> the other.Again, try not <strong>to</strong> push them all the way throughthe wing. It takes some effort <strong>to</strong> get each in theright place and vertical.
