Business Administration CurriculumBusiness AdministrationThe major in business administration is designed to broadly educate students in the business sciences. Students receiveexcellent preparation for pr<strong>of</strong>essional management positions in financial services, manufacturing operations, consumermarketing, human resources, and strategic planning. The major also prepares students for graduate school in businessadministration or law school. In addition, the department <strong>of</strong>fers an honors concentration in financial services and amarketing concentration for those who wish to add focus and intensity to their program. A grade <strong>of</strong> C– or better must beearned in each <strong>of</strong> these courses. All <strong>of</strong> these lower-division coursesmust be completed prior to enrolling in the upper-division courses forthe major.A student majoring in business administration must maintain a cumulativegrade point average <strong>of</strong> at least 2.0 both in the major and overall.The majority <strong>of</strong> the courses required for the major must be taken at<strong>Saint</strong> Mary’s <strong>College</strong>. The following upper-division courses, if requiredfor the student’s program, must be taken at <strong>Saint</strong> Mary’s <strong>College</strong>:Business Administration 100 (A,B,C), 121, 125, 126, 140, 181, 182.67
