Also<strong>in</strong>troduced are <strong>the</strong> pr<strong>in</strong>cipals ofelectromagnetism, piezoelectricand micro-mechatronics/MEMSBus<strong>in</strong>ess Environment andEnergy Studies will provide anawareness of <strong>the</strong> commercialenvironment and <strong>the</strong> need foroperational efficiency with<strong>in</strong>manufactur<strong>in</strong>g bus<strong>in</strong>esses.It will provide a thoroughunderstand<strong>in</strong>g of lean 6-sigmapractices and <strong>the</strong>ir limitations,and an appreciation of newdevelopments <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> field ofoperations plann<strong>in</strong>gNumerical Methods Techniques<strong>in</strong> Eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g presents <strong>the</strong>modern and advanced numericaltechniques which are currentlyused <strong>in</strong> mechanical and electroniceng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> a mannerthat is both <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g andunderstandableAdvanced Thermodynamicsand Heat Transfer presentsadvanced topics <strong>in</strong> applied<strong>the</strong>rmodynamics and heattransfer related to mechanicaleng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g.
