2.3. Hot-<strong>melt</strong> Extrusion (HME) processPMOL <strong>for</strong>mulations with Kollidon VA64 and Eudragit EPO were mixed properly in100 g batches <strong>for</strong> 10 min each. A Turbula TF2 Mixer w<strong>as</strong> used to blend <strong>the</strong> powder<strong>for</strong>mulations <strong>for</strong> 10 min. The <strong>extrusion</strong> <strong>of</strong> all PMOL blends w<strong>as</strong> per<strong>for</strong>med using aRandc<strong>as</strong>tle single-screw extruder (RCP0625) equipped with a 0.2 mm rod die.
