As mentioned earlier, risk management is not an add-on feature to the MDMP or TLP. It is a fullyintegrated element of planning and executing operations. The goal of integrating the process is to make riskmanagement a routine part of planning and executing operational missions. Table 7-3 describes the riskmanagement process as it is integrated into the MDMP; Table 7-4, page 7-10, shows the risk managementprocess as it is integrated into TLP, more detailed discussion on risk management and key riskmanagement terms can be found in FM 3-100.12, FM 100-14, and FM 5-0.Table 7-3.
