To perform a VSS snapshot backup of Exchange data, we used the following setup:► Windows 2008 64bit► Exchange 2007 Server► XIV Host Attachment Kit 1.0.4► XIV VSS Provider 2.0.9► Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager 2.0Microsoft Exchange Server XIV VSS Snapshot backupOn the XIV Storage System a single volume has been created and mapped to the hostsystem, as illustrated in Figure 2-18. On the Windows host system, the volume has beeninitialized as a basic disk and assigned the drive letter G.
