Assessment points for peace educationbased on heritageThis chapter provides additional details on how to arrange an educational encounterwith underwater cultural heritage from the First World War. This same approach canalso be used with examples from the extensive ship and aircraft wrecks from the SecondWorld War and other conflicts.For each point, there is a brief explanation of what is meant by (1) knowledge andinsight, (2) empathy and commitment and (3) reflection and action. Teaching limitationsare acknowledged, and several teaching options and teaching tips are providedfor each point. For the sake of clarity, the three parts are presented separately.
