Children and peaceeducation have a priority position in this programme.New Experience Trail for Children: Bridge to the FutureThe Peace Centre developed an adventure experience trail for school children andscout groups aged 10 to 12, giving them the opportunity to take part in an interactiveworkshop about various aspects of war and peace. The aim was for them to learnabout, discover and discuss the critical situation in Antwerp during the First WorldWar when thousands of people had to escape the city using a temporary bridge acrossthe River Scheldt.
