138 <strong>ITEM</strong> ToolKit Getting Started Guide Adding and Editing Blocks A block may be used to represent a system, sub-system, board or logical group of functions. Blocks can be added to the FMECA system hierarchy tree by selecting the FMECA system tab. Select the Block options from the Add menu. Blocks can also be created or added using the equivalent toolbar option. To add blocks using the toolbar: 1. Select the block from the toolbar menu (A).
