Activating the Software Chapter 2 Installing ITEM ToolKit 67 A Network Client cannot be activated and once the software is installed, it should open normally and read the License Key located on the Server. NOTE ITEM ToolKit will display error messages if: 1. The software cannot read the License Key because the Network Server is down, the connection is lost, the client is logged off or the Network Path is incorrect. 2. 68 ITEM ToolKit Getting Started Guide Setting Up the Network Client Once the Network Client version of ToolKit is installed, the Client license manager needs to be set with the correct types of network connections. ITEM ToolKit has two types of network connections available.
