The following items and activities occurred during the month <strong>of</strong> February 2013 by Health<br />
Department staff:<br />
Process applications for annual licenses and renewals for 2013.<br />
Issuing <strong>of</strong> Landfill, Recycling and Shellfish Licenses (Permit Dept.)<br />
Health Agent/Health Inspector: Annual and routine inspections/reinspections/complaint-based<br />
inspections.<br />
Health Agent: Emergency Preparedness; Meeting with <strong>Chatham</strong> Emergency<br />
Management, Captain Cauble regarding CEMP.<br />
Health Agent: Engineer conferences.<br />

Health Agent: Review hearing applications and prepare staff reports for Board <strong>of</strong> Health.<br />
Health Agent/Health Inspector: Meetings with businesses regarding changes to permits<br />
and or location <strong>of</strong> operations; <strong>Chatham</strong> Cookie Company, <strong>Chatham</strong> Jam and Jelly Shop,<br />
Orpheum Café, and the Bistro.<br />
Health Agent & Secretary: Acella Training(s) for new regional permitting initiative. Office<br />
training and testing <strong>of</strong> future application process online.<br />
Health Agent: Solid Waste Advisory Task Force. Meetings and report preparations.<br />
Prepare meeting minutes. Presentation to Board <strong>of</strong> Selectmen<br />
Health Agent: Mandatory sewer connections, meeting with Departments involved to<br />
stream line permitting process via the use <strong>of</strong> People Forms.<br />
Health Agent: Sewer Bank final meeting, review <strong>of</strong> ongoing applications.<br />
Health Agent: Review <strong>of</strong> sewer connection applications.<br />
Health Agent/Health Inspector: follow-up with Food service establishments- post<br />
blizzard<br />
Health Agent/Health Inspector: prepare poster and additional information for<br />
Community Preservation Committee meeting re: walking path, Volunteer Park.<br />
Health Agent: Box Office Café, Documentation <strong>of</strong> violations and history <strong>of</strong> business<br />
prepared for BOH and Department review.<br />
