Put new sweeper nozzle on Johnson sweeper, Also washed and waxed sweeper and
John Deere mowing tractor.
2-8-2013 Sanded Main roads, Schools and parking lots, Town sanders 12 hours, 2
contract sanders 4 hours.
2-8-2013 Called 14 private contractors for snow plowing at 8:00 PM, 271.5 hours snow
plowing by private contractors. 3 Park Dept vehicles 68.5 hours plowing, 2 WPCF
vehicles 43 hours plowing, 8 Highway Dept vehicles, 5 dump trucks 120 hours plowing
and 3 one ton dump trucks 102 hours snow plowing, Sidewalk plow 32 hours plowing
sidewalks and two persons from the Building Dept clearing the sidewalks at the
Annex 12 hours clearing sidewalks.
John Deere front end loader moved 27 trees out of roadway around town so roads
could be plowed. Trees will be cut and picked up after storm. 1 man 26 hours.
2-9-2013 Sanded after plowing Main, secondary, Schools, parking lots and dirt roads. 4
town sanders 24 hours. 2 contract sanders 8 hours.
Checked out and greased all trucks, sanders, sidewalk plow and loader. 2 men 16 hours
Put ice melt and salt and sand were needed on sidewalks. 2 men 42 hours
Cut up downed trees and chipped up limbs with wood chipper and picked up remaining
wood and took to TW Nickerson 5 men 300 hours.
2-12-2013 Sanded main roads, Schools, parking lots and touch up secondary roads.
Town sanders 12 hours, private contractors 4 hours.
Plowed airport runway 1 man 2.5 hours.
2-13-2013 Spot sanding roads, 1 town sander 1.5 hours.
Made repairs to TW Nickerson snow plow. 1 man 3 hours
Made repairs to snowblower for Bobcat skidsteer loader 1 man 5 hours.
2-14-2013 Sanded Main, secondary roads, Schools and parking lots. 4 town sanders 17.5
hours, 2 private contractor sanders 7 hours.
2-17-2013 Sanded Main, secondary roads and parking lots. Town sanders 21 hours, 2
private contractor sanders 7 hours.
2-17-2013 Called 13 private contractors for snow plowing at 10 AM. 109 hours plowing,
3 Park Dept one ton dump trucks 28 hours plowing, WPCF 1 pickup truck and 1 one ton
work truck 24 hours plowing, Highway Dept 6 wheel dump trucks 60 hours plowing,
3one ton dump trucks 36 hours plowing, Sidewalk plow 23 hours, 2 employee’s from
Building Dept clearing sidewalks at Annex 12 hours.
2-17-2013 Sanded Main and secondary roads, Schools, parking lots after plowing, 4
town sanders 17.5 hours sanding, 2 private contractor sanders 7 hours sanding.
2 men maining sidewalks on Main Street and keeping crosswalks open to foot traffic
along with keeping Main Street cleaned. 82 hours.
Cleaned out all sanders and greased conveyor chains and rollers, Cleaned and checked
out all trucks oil,water, lights,etc.
2 men checking and patching pot holes, 80 hours ( lot of patching will be needed in the
future)
Continued cleanup from storm chipping brush and downed tree limbs, also removed
tree stumps and took same to TW Nickerson 6 loads.3 men 32 hours.
Checked and cleaned off all catch basin grates and drainage runoffs 4 men 128 hours.
