Lime Hill Road Pumping Station
Daily inspections and checks of the station were performed.
Daily, weekly and monthly O&M requirements were met and completed utilizing
computerized maintenance program work orders.
Meadowview Road Pumping Station
Daily inspections and checks of the station were performed.
Daily, weekly and monthly O&M requirements were met and completed utilizing
computerized maintenance program work orders.
We continue to experience issues with pump # 1 failing to run in automatic. We are
working with representatives of GHD, Hayes Pump/Gorman Rupp and MECO to resolve
the issue.
Horeseshoe Lane Pumping Station
Daily inspections and checks of the station were performed.
Daily, weekly and monthly O&M requirements were met and completed utilizing
computerized maintenance program work orders.
Barn Hill Road Pumping Station
Daily inspections and checks of the station were performed.
Daily, weekly and monthly O&M requirements were met and completed utilizing
computerized maintenance program work orders.
National Grid responded to a possible natural gas leak at the pumping station. Upon
arrival, they determined that it was not a leak. The cause of the odor appears to be with
the station’s odor control unit. GHD, Meco and the unit’s manufacturer have been
notified of the problem and are currently working to identify and resolve the issue.
Collection Station and Forcemain
Grease trap inspections for the month of February were performed and completed.
Dig safe mark outs are up to date.
As a precaution, we jet washed the Kate Gould Park sewer line.
J.W. Dubis Co. temporarily repaired (plated and buried) a manhole located in the
intersection of Old Harbor and Depot Roads that was damaged by a snow plow. Final
repair will occur this spring.
