THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT
I hereby declare that, having taken all reasonable care to ensure that such is
the case, the information contained in this Registration Document is, to the
best of my knowledge, consistent with the facts and contains no omission
likely to affect its import.
I hereby declare that, to my knowledge, the fi nancial statements have been
drawn up in accordance with relevant accounting standards and provide a
true and fair view of the assets, fi nancial situation and performance of the
Company and of all companies included under the consolidated fi nancial
statements. I furthermore declare that the management report referenced in
the cross-reference table under section 9.5 provides a true and fair picture of
changes in the business, performance and fi nancial situation of the Company
Chairman and CEO
Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise
and all companies included under the consolidated fi nancial statements, as
well as a description of the main risks and uncertainties they face.
I obtained a statement from the Statutory auditors at the end of their
engagement affi rming that they have read the entire Registration Document
and verifi ed the information regarding the fi nancial situation and the fi nancial
statements contained therein.
It should be noted that the consolidated fi nancial statements contained in the
Registration Document fi led on 7 April 2010 were addressed in a Statutory
auditors’ report containing an observation, page 125.
