AEROESPACIAL, SE DIERON CITA EN AERÓPOLIS EN LA CONFERENCIA SOBRE
DINÁMICAS DE IMPACTO EN ESTRUCTURAS AEROESPACIALES (ASIDI), UN EVENTO
QUE SIRVIÓ PARA ANALIZAR LAS ÚLTIMAS TENDENCIAS EN ESTE CAMPO.

El Parque Tecnológico Aeroespacial de Andalucía, Aerópolis,
se convirtió el pasado mes de noviembre en el
centro del debate sobre los últimos avances en investigación
y tecnologías sobre impactos en aviones y aeronaves,
tras acoger la Conferencia Internacional ASIDI
(Aerospace Structural Impact Dynamics – Dinámicas de
Impacto en las Estructuras Aeroespaciales). Un encuentro
que sirvió para consolidar el papel protagonista que
el sector aeronáutico en Andalucía viene afianzando en
el contexto europeo, y también le está llevando a acoger
foros y eventos de referencia en determinados campos
tecnológicos o del negocio aeroespacial.
El encuentro reunió a más de 130 investigadores y especialistas
de 19 países, con el fin de analizar las principales
novedades y tendencias en materia de normativa
aeroespacial, de dinámicas de impacto estructurales, de
técnicas computacionales y experimentales, y de tecnologías
e investigación en este ámbito científico.
La Conferencia fue organizada por la Agencia de Innovación
y Desarrollo de Andalucía IDEA y el Instituto
Nacional para la Investigación en Aviación en EE.UU.
(NIAR), y contó con la colaboración del Cluster HÉLICE,
Aerópolis y FADA-CATEC. La Conferencia ASIDI 2015 ha
sido la primera edición de este encuentro que se celebraba,
fuera de Estados Unidos. La última conferencia
ASIDI se celebró en Wichita (Kansas) en noviembre de
2012, organizada por el NIAR.
Las jornadas contaron con la presencia de investigadores,
agencias de regulación y profesionales de la
industria provenientes de la NASA, de la Agencia Europea
de Seguridad Aérea (EASA), la Administración
Federal de Aviación de EE.UU., el mismo NIAR, el Centro
Aeroespacial Alemán DRL, y diversas universidades
como Warsaw (Polonia), Milán (Italia), Cambridge (Reino
Unido), Ohio State, Utah o Virginia Tech en Estados
Unidos, o Nanjing (China). Además, participaron grandes
compañías tractoras y fabricantes como Boeing,
Airbus, Dassault o Sonaca y empresas establecidas en
Andalucía como Aernnova o el Centro Avanzado de
Tecnologías Aeroespaciales (CATEC). En concreto se

held last November the debate on the latest advances in
research and technology on structural impact dynamics
in aircraft with the organization of ASIDI. This meeting
served to consolidate the leading role of the Andalusian
aviation sector, well established in Europe. Thanks to
that, Andalusia is leading forums and reference events in
some technological fields and the aerospace business.
The meeting brought together more than 130 researchers
and specialists from 19 countries to discuss key
developments and trends in aerospace policy, structural
impact dynamics, computational and experimental
techniques and technologies and research in this field.
This conference was organized by the Agency for Innovation
and Development of Andalusia, IDEA, and the
National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR), in collaboration
with HELICE Cluster, Aerópolis and FADA-CA-
TEC. The ASIDI Conference 2015 was the first edition
of this event to be held outside the United States. The
last edition was held in Wichita (Kansas) in November
2012, organized by the NIAR.

The sessions were attended by researchers, regulatory
agencies and industry professionals from NASA, the European
Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the U.S. Federal
Aviation Administration, NIAR, the German Aerospace
Center DLR, and various universities such as Warsaw
(Poland), Milan (Italy), Cambridge (UK), Ohio State,
Utah and Virginia Tech in the United States, or Nanjing
(China). In addition, largest global aircraft manufacturers
like Boeing, Airbus, Dassault and Sonaca and companies
established in Andalusia as Aernnova or the Center for
Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) attended
the meeting, too. More specifically, 34 companies and
25 R&D centers were registered as participants.
