Big Size Chiller assembly line<br />

This component has become the starting point for the engineering of a new<br />

line of chillers with low capacity (7÷80kW) with innovative characteristics<br />

compared to the competition.<br />

Idrocompl boasts, in fact, a characteristic that makes it unique: it is absolutely<br />

resistant to the formation of ice on the inside, generated by wrong<br />

manoeuvres or breakdown of the security devices.<br />

Since 2002 there have therefore been two productive poles, each with its<br />

own philosophy at the product level:<br />

• AMP in Rome is the company that produces both the chillers with high<br />

capacity (from 400 to 4000 kW) and a series of reciprocating compressors<br />

from 3 to 10 cylinders (presently the most powerful in the world<br />

constructed);<br />

• RC Condizionatori in Pavia produces the middle range in the array of chillers<br />

(from 50 to 400 kW) and, in addition to that, is specialized in the part<br />

of air conditioning for telecommunication and for technological premises<br />

of medium and large capacity and in the systems of air conditioning for<br />

mobile communication;<br />

• RC Condizionatori in Zeccone is specialized in small chillers (5÷270kW).<br />

Our productive growth over the nineties was therefore remarkable.<br />

Consequently, the effort for organization to cover the various market areas<br />

will also have been remarkable.<br />

Yes, today our company is well represented throughout Italy with a<br />

network of Agents who are supported in turn by a network of technical<br />

post-sales service, even more vast and capillary. Abroad, instead, we work<br />

with exclusive Distributors, companies which handle both the commercialization<br />

of the product and the technical service.<br />

Technical service is one of our favourite points: in our market of reference,<br />

the technological field, machines must work 24 hours a day for 365<br />

days a year, so post-sales service is a key factor in the correct functioning<br />

of the system.<br />

With the same philosophy we face also the civil and tertiary field, and<br />

so our authorized Service Centres are able to respond rapidly even in the<br />

most critical periods of the year.<br />

How is this tissue of single realities managed? Centrally by the RC Group,<br />

or also by Rome?<br />

At organizational level, the two divisions are maintained completely<br />

independent and are considered to be autonomous profit centres at production<br />

level, though they were fused in 1998 into a single legal entity,<br />

the RC Group. Research & Development, Commercial and Financial activities<br />

are centralized. Centralized but not from a geographic standpoint,<br />
