THE AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH DISPLACEMENT AIR DELIVERY<br />
The air-conditioning system with displacement air discharge is based on the principle that the air is distributed at a very low<br />
speed, while enabling a cooling effect by convection.<br />
This concept has been adjusted and applied by RC GROUP to the air-conditioning of telephone exchanges and rooms where the<br />
concentration of electronic equipment is considerable, in order to maximise and optimise the results that can be obtained in<br />
these specific ambients.<br />
The modern Telecom devices have the aim of heat dissipation by air suction from the lower side close to the floor, and discharging it<br />
from the top. The air circulation in the equipment can be either natural, by convection, or in a forced way, through dedicated internal<br />
ventilation systems.<br />
RC GROUP displacement system creates a cushion of cold air at the floor level, thanks to proprietary COLDLAYER technology, which is<br />
available for all the equipment installed in the room, and can reach also the equipment located in critical positions, thanks to patented<br />
AIRRAIL ® injectors.<br />
Every electronic equipment will “absorb” the amount of cold required to maintain a correct temperature level inside, through a<br />
natural convection effect.<br />
The greater the load inside the electronic equipment, the greater this effect.<br />
So, every electronic equipment uses only the amount required to dissipate its own thermal load, which is generated by maximising the<br />
result and the energy efficiency of the system.<br />
This allows a better and more constant cooling of the electronic equipment ensuring the possibility to meet in real time any load<br />
changes, without any waste of energy.<br />
More than 2000 installations equipped with the RC GROUP displacement system have allowed our R&D division to develop, test and<br />
patent the MISTRAL ® control system.<br />
MISTRAL ® ensures a perfect stratification of the temperatures in the room, as well as a perfect thermodynamic efficiency for the<br />
plant under any working conditions.<br />
MISTRAL ® , thanks to the EFFICIENTFLOW technology, allows the system to adjust itself in real time to any load change, in terms of<br />
quantity and distribution, while ensuring the best energy efficiency.<br />
DIRECT EXPANSION UNITS<br />
Available up to 47 kW cooling capacity and over, these direct expansion air conditioning units are particularly suitable for low and<br />
medium installations, where the compactness of the units and their simple installation are fundamental requirements.<br />
They are available both with remote air cooled condensers and in packaged version with built-in water cooled condenser.<br />
Equipped with Scroll type compressor, characterized by high efficiency and low noise, RC GROUP direct expansion air conditioning units<br />
stand out for the building accuracy, the high reliability and the extreme installation flexibility, thanks also to a wide range of optional<br />
extras that have been conceived to satisfy all demands.<br />
CHILLED WATER UNITS<br />
Similar to direct expansion units, the HEAT HUNTER chilled water air conditioning units are suitable for variable water flow plant<br />
matched to MAXIMO OPTIMIZER liquid chillers series.<br />
The range is very rich with a large number of optional extras suitable for every specific plant demand. The construction quality, the<br />
materials used and the particular care at planning stage of RC GROUP chilled water units, guarantee noise levels among the lowest in<br />
this product category.<br />
