TripAdvisor introduces
new platform for
airline reviews
Travellers learn about total value
of flight beyond the price
TripAdvisor ® announced the launch of a new
airline reviews platform, as well as a newly
redesigned flights search service and beta launch
of its "flyscore" that rates the quality of each air
travel itinerary for consumers.
Travellers now have a go-to resource for making
more informed air travel decisions based not
only on the price of the flight, but the total
experience with the airline as viewed by
TripAdvisor's community of more than 340 million
monthly unique visitors. With the launch of the
new airline reviews platform, which will include
all major airlines globally, TripAdvisor has
expanded its massive base of 350 million traveller
reviews and opinions.
The platform allows travellers to share their candid
feedback both good and bad about all major
airlines around the globe. This includes qualitative
traveller reviews, the quality of the aircraft, in-flight
amenities and the duration of the itinerary.
The score helps travellers quickly scan for the best
flight options before booking.
TripAdvisor airline reviews and its new flights
search are available globally and may be found
24 hours bag drop
service at KLIA for
Malaysia Airlines
passengers
The bag drop facility at the KL International Airport (KLIA) is now
available up to 24 hours in advance for Malaysia Airlines passengers.
The facility allows passengers departing from KLIA to avoid long
queues during the holiday season by using the bag drop facilities
from up to 24 hours prior to departure.
During regular hours, the bag drop facilities are located at:
• Row B and C (Economy Class)
• Row D (First and Business Class)
However, between 12am and 5am, the bag drop facilities will be
opened at Row B only. This particular initiative by Malaysia Airports
and Malaysia Airlines Berhad was introduced on July 13 to promote
early bag drop to passengers.
