High Octane Chefs at the Festival!
Reflecting the evolution of the dining scene in Malaysia,
MIGF now stands for the Malaysia International
Gastronomy Festival and not the previous ‘Gourmet
Festival’. Whereas premium dining was once limited to
the usual staples in a few five-star hotels, restaurants of
all types have sprang up over the years offering many
types of dining experiences.
This year’s lineup of participating restaurants is among the
best and most diverse in the festival’s 15-year history. The
Olive, one of the signature outlets of Genting Highlands
and winner of the coveted Golden Cauldron Award for
Best All-Round Restaurant of MIGF 2015 returns with
Chef Radzuan Hamzah once again cooking up sensational
Western Continental creations.
The festival also brings some of the city’s finest Chinese
and premium Cantonese cuisine while other appearances
at this year's event includes Western classic fares,
innovative Pan Asian, Italian and French cuisine, Irish
premium oysters and South African abalone, offering KL’s
finest ocean treasures.
Adding a dash of spice to the lineup is a taste of authentic
home cooked Penang Nyonya cuisine, rustic Sri Lankan
fare and not forgetting steamboat, where some of the
capital’s most unique broths can be found.
