Gardensong (1983) is a beautiful film about Alan Chadwick’s<br />

work, our own work, and that of others.<br />

Circle of Plenty (1987) is about our Willits garden and the<br />

Menos y Mejores project in northern Mexico. Circle of Plenty<br />

addresses some serious problems in world agriculture and<br />

shows that the Biointensive method is a viable solution even<br />

under Third World conditions with poor soil.<br />

A Journey in Kenya—Biointensive Farmers (1993). Sandra<br />

Mardigian and Doug Burck revisit graduates from Manor<br />

House Agricultural Centre whom they sponsored, and document<br />

the amazing, positive changes that have resulted from<br />

Biointensive gardens—both for individuals and for whole<br />

villages! Wonderful, hope-filled scenes of African gardens<br />

and gardeners. About 20 minutes.<br />

El Huer<strong>to</strong> Ecologico (1992). This video is used <strong>to</strong> introduce<br />

Biointensive practices in Mexico.<br />

The Living Land (1999). This PBS-TV special is available from<br />

on the bases of our lives: the soil, farming, and food. Beautifully<br />

Panisse, and Mas Masumo<strong>to</strong>, author of Epitaph for a Peach<br />

and Harvest Son are woven in<strong>to</strong> a beautiful fabric.
