MO217 Exploring the Role of Ethical Wills
and Spiritual Legacies in Faith
Communities and Beyond
2:30 PM | Columbus EF (East Tower, Gold Level)
The retelling of stories keeps religions alive and transmits
spiritual values and precepts to those who follow a particular
tradition. Adherents of these traditions must pass on their
beliefs and values to others and to the wider tradition. By leaving
a spiritual legacy, persons share values and beliefs with other
generations and find meaning in their own living and dying.
Ethical wills can be an effective tool for leaving this legacy.
