concrete coating.
Currently, the volume of shipping oil of Novy
Port is up to 15 thousand tons per day. Only
in 2016, the field produced 2.9 million tons of
oil. The specialists of Gazpromneft-Yamal, with
full commissioning of the Central oil gathering
infrastructure of Novoportovskoye field will allow
to ship 5 – 6 million tons of oil per year. The figure
of 5 million tons expected to be reached in the
current year, and in 2018 to reach the level of
6.3 million tons of oil.
The oil extracted at the Novoportovskoye field,
isolated in a separate variety, called Novy Port,
and belongs to the category of light. Low sulfur
content (about 0.1%), it exceeds not only Russia's
Urals blend, but also European marker Brent. In
addition, the oil of Novy Port is almost anhydrous
and has a low content of impurities, and thus
requires almost no additional preparation. The oil
of Neft Novy Port is a very valuable feedstock for
European refineries.
Novy Port is considered one of the most
technological projects of Gazprom Neft. The
production of hydrocarbons is carried out
in difficult climatic conditions. In winter, the
temperature in the area of the Novoportovskoye
field can reach -55°C. Field tested drilling
technologies in the Arctic latitudes and
permafrost. So, in 2016, Gazprom Neft for the
first time on the Yamal Peninsula drilled a well
with the length of horizontal shaft 2 km.
More than 80% of equipment used at the
Novoportovskoye field, is of Russian origin,
released on the domestic machine-building,
metallurgical plants and capacities of the scientific
and technical associations. For example, the
oil pipeline infrastructure in the field equipped
with the Russian control, heating and monitoring
systems that control its integrity real-time. For
animal migration under the pipe there are some
special transitions. To maintain the permafrost
in its natural state during the construction of
production facilities, administrative and social
buildings apply heat stabilizers of the Russian
assembly. Also for monitoring the temperatures
of the ground at bases of structures established
special thermometric boreholes with domestic
measuring instruments. To 2018, the field will
have to run gas turbine power plant on 96 MW
with the possibility of increasing the capacity up
to 144 MW. The Novoportovskoye gas turbine
power plant will be one of the largest on the
Yamal peninsula. For supply of electricity from the
field to the facilities located in the Cape Stone, to
be conducted power line with a length of 98 km.

the best international standards
and application of solutions
to minimize the impact on the
environment and to ensure
reliable operation in difficult
climatic conditions. In the
framework of its environmental
program Gazprom-Yamal is
working to restore aquatic
biological resources of the
Gulf of Ob. It is conducted the
regular monitoring of the ambient
conditions.
Currently the project has
entered into the active phase.
During the peak periods at the
Novoportovskoye field worked
more than 7 thousand employees
of Gazprom and subcontractors.
For comfortable stay it was
built shift complexes. Currently,
for employees of Gazprom-
Yamal additionally erected a
residential complex for 600
places at the Novoportovskoye
field and residential complex
on the acceptance paragraph
in the Cape Stone (150). The
commissioning is scheduled on
2017.
