ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE TREATED<br />

Allow yourself to overcome feelings<br />

of anxiety and engage in healing practices.<br />

Choose wisely what to overcome. Let other<br />

people help you, and make sure you let<br />

yourself help you.<br />

SURROUND YOURSELF<br />

WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE<br />

If you are afflicted with panic attacks,<br />

you should not spend a lot of time by<br />

yourself. Surround yourself with positive,<br />

supportive people. Doing so will help<br />

you stay focused on the good and not<br />

succumb to panic. Visit friends and family<br />

as frequently as you can. Have them come<br />

over if they can and talk in person. This<br />

may provide you with immediate relief.<br />

DO SOME VOLUNTEER WORK<br />

Try to become more social as<br />

a means to reduce the frequency of<br />

your panic attacks. Volunteering to a<br />

worthy cause such as a nursing home<br />

or animal shelter can provide you with<br />

an opportunity to exercise your social<br />

strength, be highly productive, and feel<br />

very good about yourself. These groups<br />

can remind you how great you are and<br />

how lucky you are to be alive.<br />

SOMETHING POSITIVE<br />

Use this adrenaline for something else.<br />

The energy that is built up during a panic<br />

attack must be directed toward something<br />

that will help to move your focus from<br />
