Allah (g), but he neglects to mention the myths introduced by<br />

al-Mukhtk or his claim <strong>of</strong> receiving revelation.826 The R%@s<br />

Fitnah al-Zthna 'Ashariyyah: "Part <strong>of</strong> their (the R$fi@s') crafty<br />

tricks is that they look at the names <strong>of</strong> scholars who are respected<br />

by Ah1 as-Sunnab, and whenever they find one who has the<br />

same name as one <strong>of</strong> their own scholars, they attribute the<br />

reports <strong>of</strong> that Shia scholar to him (the Sunni scholar). Those<br />

Sunnis who are unaware <strong>of</strong> this will think that this is one <strong>of</strong> their<br />

(Sunni) imams and will accept his words and rely on his reports.<br />

For example, as-Suddi is the name <strong>of</strong> two men, one <strong>of</strong> whom is<br />

as-Suddi the elder and the other is as-Suddi the younger. The<br />

elder as-Suddi is one <strong>of</strong> the trustworthy Sunni scholars, whereas
